We have had a long-standing commitment to community involvement and support of
charitable organizations, including the active participation of many BWD
employee volunteers. We have developed an expertise in providing insurance
to various kinds of organizations in the social services arena. This “natural fit” has resulted in a
portfolio of social services clients - from modest sized local agencies to
large state-sponsored entities with thousands of employees. Due to the
nature of their work, these clients typically have broad-ranging exposures
that present complicated and unusual insurance challenges. BWD has
successfully overcome obstacles and designed comprehensive insurance
programs to address difficult exposures such as clinics and various treatment facilities, camps, swimming and
climbing activities, therapeutic equestrian activities, residences for
agency clientele, fundraising and other special events.
