The hospitality industry, primarily hotels and restaurants,
is one of the larger business segments in BWD’s client portfolio.
The
core of our portfolio includes business class and resort hotels in and out
of the United States, some with very large, multiple location property
schedules with values in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Given the
nature of the business, many of our hospitality industry clients have
complex casualty exposures such as spas, fitness gyms, ground
transportation and banquet facilities. We have access to specialty
coverage required by our clients for innkeeper and liquor liability that
is not provided by some insurers. BWD evaluates the individual risks and
needs of each hospitality client and leverages its broad spectrum of
market relationships to obtain comprehensive protection at a competitive
price.
